I found the coil to be well balanced with the detector. The coil was very robust, and I could see it would handle the harsh conditions.
I don’t know how they have done it. But every coil I have tried has amazed me in its own way.
Taking the new 9” Goldhawk to an open area on this patch, I was impressed to still find more nuggets, particularly a little deeper.
Here are a few pictures of finds using the 10×5” elliptical and 9” round Goldhawk coils.
The small stuff all adds up, but this kind of once-a-season find is the ultimate payoff.
