For my birthday my partner thought he would be considerate and buy a gift that keeps on giving …. The SDC2300 with a Coiltek 10×5 Gold Extreme coil.

I can tell you that I have not spent a weekend home since August when I received the gift. I secretly think he was hoping that I wouldn’t use it so that he could have it.

I had not been prospecting since the late 1980s. The machine has same functionality, but the accuracy is incredible & since the addition of the Coiltek Gold Extreme 10 x 5″ – I found my 1st ever nugget (fair size too I am told) out in the Golden Triangle. The solid ground was no challenge for this little ripper.

Most unreal adventure I have had in 30 years that has inspired me beyond my wildest dreams.

Secretly I believe my partner is quite chuffed that he now has me hooked on the same passion he has formed within the last few years. What was once fun to get out in the open air of the bush, has now become a mini competition between the two of us to see who can find the next nugget when we go out together in the North West. The search is exciting, stimulating and vigorous depending on location for the day.

I would previously choose to play on my phone while he was out and about “on the hunt”. Now I wouldn’t look back! I am super stoked and very grateful for this precious Gold finding gift that has changed my life for the better. I cannot wait for the day when I find that monster nugget, we all hear stories about.
