10 x 5 GOLDHAWK in Maryborough

Yesterday I took the 10×5 Goldhawk for a test run in Maryborough. It wasn’t a great day for it today: Puddles and sloshy across the ground but I was amazed at how the coil performed over the next couple of hours!

I pinged my first piece of gold in the first 15 minutes of my search. It weighed 0.05g. After, I ran the standard 6000 11” coil over a different patch that only gave a faint signal in comparison to the 10 x 5″.

The 10 x 5″ was sharp and unmissable. The size and shape makes all targets a lot more sensitive. I have a lot of choice considering all of Coiltek’s new releases. I am hoping to try the 9″ soon.
