I spent a day with Coiltek in early August and had the opportunity to use one of the three GOLDHAWK coils developed for the GPX 6000. Being a professional prospector, I chose the 14×9″ elliptical as this size suits my needs.

I found the coil to be well balanced with the detector. The coil was very robust, and I could see it would handle the harsh conditions.

The GOLDHAWK coil was also very smooth in hot mineralization and signal response was very positive.

All in all, enjoyed the opportunities to swing.
