I spent a day with Coiltek in early August and had the opportunity to use one of the three GOLDHAWK coils developed for the GPX6000.
Being a professional prospector, I chose the 14×9 elliptical as this size suits my needs. I found the coil to be well-balanced with the detector.
The coil was very robust and I could see it would handle the harsh conditions. It was also very smooth in hot mineralization and the signal response was very positive.
All in all enjoyed the opportunity to swing.
