Upon the release of the GOLDHAWK series coils for the GPX6000, I had already gone over most of my patches I frequent at least a few times with the standard 6000 coils. With all the hype, I decided a 9” round would suit my detecting areas, which are mostly shrubby uneven ground.
I couldn’t wait to get it on the ground and really put it to the test and I was quite impressed by how it performed.
Most patches popped out at least a few more bits, which to me even if most were tiny gold, every extra bit is a welcome bonus when you think there’s no targets left!
What impressed me most about the 9” is its heightened sensitivity on the tiniest bits. The signals were so sharp and really pull you up to investigate further!
The coil feels solid built and just feels like a perfect fit for the 6000. It’s quickly become my go-to favourite coil!
I’m not affiliated with Coiltek or any other product. In fact, I’ve used many brands over the years including the Fisher Gold Bug 2 VLF and White’s, but I’d go as far as to say the 9” GOLDHAWK is one of the nicest coils I’ve used!
